Facebook...... even I am a member and I am slightly paranoid when it comes to sharing all the teeny tiny details of my oh not so exciting life with the world at large. Being a member helped because of course I didn’t have to go through the signing up process. I had a slightly harder time trying to find a library to check out their updates (shows how much time I spend on Facebook :)). The Library of Congress basically updates different events taking place at certain times at the library and some additions. Some libraries also had links to free downloadable ebooks.
Facebook is one of the sites that customers use daily. Having a Facebook account for Manukau Libraries makes us more connected with patrons, definitely worth promoting :).

YAY you looked up libraries on Facebook to check out how they let their patrons know what's going on! Playing/exploring is a big part of this programme. HEY! Did you realise this is your almost last post? There are only 2 things left to do: 1) complete the online survey (which will be up in week 4) and 2) write up one last post to summarise your thoughts, feelings & reactions to the whole web 2.0 tutorial :)
You heart facebook!
How do I do a heart?
> I know that's the bum of it
...
<3 is that it, did I win?
